Daka, Mwepu on target in Austria
Striker Patson Daka has kept returned to his goal scoring exploits after scoring the first goal for Redbull Salzburg’s feeder club FC Liefering in their six goal thriller win over Austria Lustenau. Daka scored Liefering’s equalizing goal after William Rodrigues had put Lustenau in the lead just 6 minutes into the match.
Midfielder Enock Mwepu who provided the assist for Daka’s goal turned finisher himself in the 77th minute when he finished off a Meister pass to score Liefering’s third .
17 year old Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai scored a brace with goals in the 68th and 80th to complete a relatively easy win and take Liefering to 30 points but still stuck on fourth position.
Daka who was playing his second game after recovering from an injury was substituted in the 63rd minute and replaced by 18 year old midfielder Nicolas Meister while Enock Mwepu played 84 minutes before being replaced by Kenan Kirim.
Liefering are fourth on thhe log with 30 points just three shy of log leaders.
