Dabid unimpressed by Zanaco midfield

Zanaco assistant coach Dabid Chilufya says they will work on their midfield ahead of the final. Chilufya wants the midfield to be more creative to help the bankers land their first ever Barclays cup title.

” I believe our midfield this time around was not okay. We started with Boyd and Isaac but we will work on the other players on the bench so that they can help us. When the midfield creates alot of chances you are able to score goals,” he said.

Losing coach Patrick Phiri praised his team for their historical feet, reaching the semi-finals of the competition for the very first time in their history.

“Getting to the semi-final was historical as you may know this was our first time . The boys did very well, next time they should go all the way and win it, Phiri said

Lusaka Dynamos dominated possession but failed to utilise it with Zanaco making their best chance count winning through a lone goal.
