Competition provokes Larry to impress
Power Dynamos midfielder Larry Bwalya has noted the high levels of competition in the Numba Mumamba drilled side that is preparing for the 2020 CHAN qualifier match against the Zebras of Botswana.
Bwalya who was roped in as a replacement call has also expressed gratitude to the coach for giving him an opportunity.
“Everyone is pushing and are motivated, they want to be part of the final team so the competition is very high. I have to do my best to be part of the team it won’t be easy but I have to prove to the coach that am worth to be part of the team,” he said.
“It feels good to be part of the team that is representing the country and being called by the coach is an honor for me because every player wishes to player for the national team and achieve a lot with the team, ” he added.
The Power Dynamos midfielder further highlighted that the COSAFA cup win has boosted the locally assembled lads as everyone wants to win more for the national team.
Zambia plays Botswana away in Gaborone on the 27th of July with the return fixture slated for 3rd August at National Heroes Stadium.
