Chris Kaunda blames Nkwazi loss on poor preparations
Nkwazi coach Chris Kaunda blamed his teams loss on the poor preparations the team had during the off season. Kaunda feels the team would have played better if they had a better pre-season. Kaunda was speaking to the ZamFoot crew after his team suffered a two nil defeat at a the hands of Napsa Stars.
Kaunda said playing against Zanaco was the only serious pre-season friendly match the team had and hence the result.
“We just played against Zanaco and we did not have any serious pre-season. This is the start of our training. The situation was beyond my control,” he said.
“We have had recruits playing for Nkwazi before it is just the preparation that we had that’s all. If we had played other big teams we could have seen these mistakes in pre-season,” He added.
Two first half goals from Laudit Mavugo was all that Napsa needed to claim maximum points. Nkwzi will now shift their focus to Forest Rangers who they will host this weekend.
