Chipolopolo wind up local camp

The Zambia national soccer team has broken the local camp which started on Sunday.

Fazfootball reports that coach Wedson Nyirenda will allow the players to feature for their clubs on Wednesday.

The team will regroup on Sunday ahead of their trip to Gabon where they will be joined by the foreign based players.

Zambia play Gabon on 3rd June.

The Chipolopolo will then fly directly to Ndola where they will play Mozambique in a group K Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 9th June.

Nyirenda heaped praise on Napsa Stars attacking midfielder Collins Sikombe at the close of the camp.

“I think Sikombe he is a very good player, very versatile. I have no doubt that he will become something for this nation,” Nyirenda told fazfootball..

The camp excluded players from Zanaco and Zesco United who have CAF engagements with Zesco away to Al Hilal while Zanaco host Wydad Casablanca on Wednesday.
