Chipolopolo continue positive surge on FIFA ladder
Zambia national team recorded a marginal rise on the FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings to stand in position 72 in the world.
The Chipolopolo have continued on their steady rise moving two places up the ladder from their position at the close of 2017.
The upward movement has however not changed Zambia’s position in Africa as the Wedson Nyirenda coached side remain 15th in Africa.
Zambia only played one international match in the period under review in which they beat Uganda 3 – 1 at the on-going CHAN tournament in Morocco.
The Chipolopolo will be looking to continue with their good run at Morocco tournament as they look to fall into the 60’s at the release of the next rankings.
