The Zambia national team is expected to commence the final phase of preparations for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Ghana on Monday after the squad left Lusaka on Sunday.
The Chipolopolo left in batches with the with first group comprising mainly of the technical staff leaving at 0600hrs while the second batch left at 1300hrs.
The nine foreign based players  called for the game are expected to start arriving in Accra on Monday where the team will camp until they leave for Uyo in Nigeria on Thursday.
Zambia turned the corner since losing at home to Nigeria and have picked 7 points out of a possible nine but now have an uneviable task of needing a outright win to remain in the race to Russia.
Zambia play Nigeria on Saturday 7th October in Uyo.

I agree totally.The task ahead of Zambia is too gigantic.The mistake was made in Ndola;that first game against Nigeria was the decider.Nigeria won hence they are in unassailable position.Zambia can do better to use these two remaining games to come up with a team for the afcon qualifiers.
I remember very well in 2012 AFCON when no one gave Zambia chance against the mighty Senegal but the results were different. Nigeria is full of stars and players have nothing to fight for apart from National pride,you go back injured to your club in Europe it’s another story. But the unknown Zambian local players have to showcase their skills to try and market themselves so Super Eagles continue flying high but a small copper bullet on the tip of your beak will spin you around. Yes you can humiliate Zambia but it could also be opposite, remember how SA wired you and home. you are going to Russia because you will beat Algeria in your last game and superior goal difference.

We are just being overtly enthusiastic about winning in Nigeria, Nigeria is a very formidable team and as such we should leap cautiously. I saw the two legs nigeria played against cameroon, the super eagles are deadly going forward and also have a very solid defense.
