The Zambia national team has arrived in Abuja ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier to be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The Chipolopolo left their training base in Accra Ghana at 13:20hrs via Togo and connected to Abuja before they take the final leg of their journey to Uyo.

The team will spend the night in Abuja, where they will be lodged at the prestigious Bolton White Hotel, before they fly out to Uyo tomorrow (Thursday).

The flight to Uyo from Abuja is about 1hr 10minutes.

The Chipolopolo set up camp in Ghana on Saturday to acclimatize ahead of the game with the Super Eagles.

All the players expected in camp joined up with the team in Accra apart from Patson Daka who will link up with the team in Abuja.

Daka is racing against time to be declared fit for the game.

Zambia play Nigeria Saturday needing an outright win to have a chance of progressing to the World Cup finals.

BUT I KNOW THE CHIPOS WILL DEFEAT NIGERIA;-

REASONS,, THE BLACK STARS BEAT NIGERIA IN WEST AFRICAN
FOOTBALL UNION BY 4 GOALS TO 1 IN GHANA..IT WAS LIKE
      CHAN THAT SOUTH AFRICANS PLAYS..

ANYWAY,,I WANT THE COACH TO PUT A LOT OF U20 PLAYERS
      IN THE SQUAD.

LONG LIVE THE CHIPOS-LONG LIVE ZAMBIA.

  4. GSK11 says:

The Young Bullets play better away from home, which suggests the home team feels the pressure more.

  5. Ian mwanza says:

Its tym we outplay ngr, ftbo znt about names.Copper bullets has cm to disgrace nigeria.

  6. Chimpombwa says:

Excellent logistics ba FAZ.. Let the days of getting to a match hours before remain in the past. Boys, the mountain is waiting for you to climb it..We are behind you!!! Ngonga, do what you have been ruled out on..SCORE!!

  7. Soccerguru says:

In as much as I would love them to win…they won’t manage to clip the super eagles…Zambia has never won a crucial world cup qualifier away….starting from Morocco in 1993…South Africa 1997….and under 23 in Ghana in 2007

    • TRUTH - SELENIKO TWIKALE says:

Negativity!!!!!!…that is the past I feel If we always look at matters this way we will ever end up with “only” one team winning the world cup over and over. There must be “change of attitude to effect change”. I know the statistics are correct but this is a different time and we must all be positive and believe it is possible.

    • Luapula bize says:

Ba Soccerguru you’re such a coward; who loves dwelling on the past. How do you manage to encourage people around you? The mindset invested in you is so retrogressive – very difficult for you to succeed in life. According to you, Chipolopolo will never in their life time qualify to any World Cup because they have failed in the past. Oh poor boy!

    • Fan says:

Referee or juju the west Africans are used to. This time around ni Bola Nalesa. Chipolopolo here we come

  8. Leo says:

Soccer guru is just speaking his mind and facts….to be honest at the moment Nigeria pound for pound are abit higher than Zambia but that doesn’t mean that Nigeria will have a free walk over us..even a win is possible and Zambia can qualify out of this task
Wining is a disease that is quite difficult to cure these boys have tasted what wining is and I see a determined team that can pull a vital win in UYO
Nigeria is a great team let’s not even talk the stats BUT is is also a great underrate chipolopolo at your own peril
    Zed chalo cesu

  9. STUMPY says:

guru is right. nigeria are on a high right now. iheanacho, moses, iwobi. we dont have what it takes

    • Japhet says:

Mind you ba STUMPY names don’t play football. And most their team Nigerians is composited of professional who seats at the bench in Europe. Misheck Chaila , Ernest Mbewe and Simon Silwimba play every game. The cardinal issue here is PERFOMANCE.

  10. Bsimms says:

Well its a great team they have assembled in the past 2yrs. Their potential is frightening but on a good day my Chipolopolo can go toe to toe with the supper chickens!

The bullet will thrive & Ngonga will shoot past the flying chicken in that goal. Fashion will be a handful, Patson a distruction while Mwepu’s computer system can’t be ignored. NIGERIA have no choice but to pay extreme attention coz my boy’s will rise like the nobal eagle over the “Uyo”!

  11. Don says:

I am so happy bien sports will televise our match against Nigeria. All the best Zambia!

  12. Amandla says:

Thank you Kwaaammmmeeeh! We are now preparing to bury the Eagles in Uyo!

  13. treasure says:

@kwame the eagles also defeated the Ghanaians 2-0 in front of your own fans. Now I see our brothers are wishing for our downfall, cos your lost your WC ticket to Egypt lol.

  14. Seerman says:
