Chipolopolo arrive in Nigeria ahead of World Cup qualifier
The Zambia national team has arrived in Abuja ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier to be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The Chipolopolo left their training base in Accra Ghana at 13:20hrs via Togo and connected to Abuja before they take the final leg of their journey to Uyo.
The team will spend the night in Abuja, where they will be lodged at the prestigious Bolton White Hotel, before they fly out to Uyo tomorrow (Thursday).
The flight to Uyo from Abuja is about 1hr 10minutes.
The Chipolopolo set up camp in Ghana on Saturday to acclimatize ahead of the game with the Super Eagles.
All the players expected in camp joined up with the team in Accra apart from Patson Daka who will link up with the team in Abuja.
Daka is racing against time to be declared fit for the game.
Zambia play Nigeria Saturday needing an outright win to have a chance of progressing to the World Cup finals.
