Charles Zulu returns from Europe
Zanaco’s sensational winger Charles Zulu has returned from Europe.
The 22 year old was set to move to Sweden but according to the ZamFoot Crew sources, a move has failed to materialise for ‘unknown reasons’.
The speedy winger recovered from a knee injury which saw him miss the first half of the 2017 season and only returned in the final third of the campaign.
The former Zambia Under-20 star came off the bench in the Barclays Cup final to steer the bankers to victory and was named man of the match.
The ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal that Zanaco had already agreed terms with the unnamed Swedish club and were preparing for life without the winger.
In 2015, together with Lubambo Musonda he featured for Zambia at the CAF Under-20 African Cup of Nations and CAF Under-23 Olympics qualifier. Both tournaments were played in Senegal.
He also featured at the 2015 African Cup of Nations under Honor Janza
The bankers have already snatcjhed up left footed winger Chitoshi Mukuma from Napsa Stars and Guily Manziba from Mufulira Wanderers.
With Augustine Mulenga likely to depart after the CHAN tournament in Morocco, Zanaco have also made additions in the attacking areas.
The bankers have signed two Cameroon players as well as a striker from Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile Julius Situmbeko is set to join Napsa Stars six months after he joined Zanaco from Power Dynamos.
