“Sir as we promised that we for sure we’re going to deliver and we had made to sure we fight and fulfill the promise we made to you,” he said.

“It wasn’t easy but they fought till the last whistle and now we are looking forward to the coming tournament,” he added.

Chambeshi went on to thank Pastor (Peter Makembo) for a great job as they could hear the drums from the bench and boys felt like they were in Zambia. Chambeshi concluded by thanking the Technical staff and the boys for the job well done.

There is no doubt that this team has the potential to go all the way. However, that will not happen automatically. Careful, deliberate and strategic planning and preparation are key. The 2012 AFCON glory was preceded by elaborate preparations. All teams that have qualified for the U23 AFCON are very strong. Qualifying for the Olympics will not be easy. Our team is good, but some positions especially in defense need reinforcement..To the team and the technical bench, congratulations ! We can do it…but work continues. FAZ and GRZ, please collaborate and work together, do your homework to ensure the team has everything in place. BRAVO!

What happened to Algeria, Tunnisia & Senegal? Thought I read somewhere that these teams had qualified.

I posted that on a copy paste from some where. It was my mistake as was for the laast AFCON. Wondered why Zambia was mentioned
