CAF Competitions Preview- Zambian clubs seek redemption
Zambian envoys in continental football will this weekend be in a cation in a bid to progress to the next round. Nkana are at home while Both Zesco and Zanaco are away.

Nkana Vs CR Belouizdad

Kickoff: 15:00 hours
Nkana are heading into this match knowing that only four unanswered goals will help them progress to the next round after they suffered a three nil defeat away in Algeria despite managing to contain CR Belouizdad in the first 45 minutes.
HOME ADVANTAGE AND SHARP FRONT LINE
Nkana being at home the football mad Wusakile faithfuls will turn upon numbers to cheer their beloved Kalampa. With the numbers behind the team it is expected that the team will be motivated to do the job.
The threat that Walter Bwalya, Idris Ilunga Mbombo and Ronald Kampamba is Nkana’s greatest hope. Kampamba and Mbombo combined to land Nkana the charity shield as they netted twice each.
The Algerian out-fit is expected to play a defensive game and try and catch Nkana on the counter attack as Nkana have no choice but to attack.
Nkana’s defence is the weakest link in the team and have allowed seven goals in their last three games.

Mbabane Swallows Vs Zanaco Football Club

The bankers suffered a shock two goals to one defeat at the hands of Mbabane Swallows at home and need an outright win to avoid dropping into the CAF confederation cup.
Coach Number Mumamba will be relying on the creativity of Tafadzwa Rusike in midfield and Charles Zulu and Ernest Mbewe on the wings to create chances for the likes of Maisha Chavda and Martin Phiri.
The bankers have scored eight goals in their last four games and only conceded four. Swallows will rely on the home support to cheer them on to victory as they look to eliminate Zanaco.
Asec Mimosas Vs Zesco United
Venue: Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium
Zesco suffered a one nil loss at Levy Mwanawasa stadium and are looking to avoid dropping into the CAF confederation cup but need to win away in Ivory coast.
Team Ya Ziko have the ammunition necessary to defeat Mimosas at home with Zikiru Adams already on four goals from two appearances and the likes of Lazarous Kambole and Jesse Jackson Were all part of the Zesco strike force.
Mimosas on the other hand are looking to revenge what happened in 2016 when they faced Zesco United in the group stages of the same competition.
