CAF CC: Match officials for Asante Kotoko v Zesco clash arrive in Ghan
Moroccan officials who will officiate the match between Asante Kotoko and Zesco United have arrived in Kumasi ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup match.
CAF appointed Moroccan referee Noureddine El Jaafari to be the centre man in the game. He will be assisted by Mabrouk Youssef, Ait Hisham Abbou and Guezzaz Samir.
The officiating team touched down in Accra on Saturday night and proceeded to Kumasi to prepare for the match which will be played on Wednesday.
Rwandan Aaron Rurangirwa has been appointed as the Match Commissioner while IIboudo Serge Paulin Samuel from Burkina Faso will be the Referee Assessor.
Zesco United who arrived in Ghana on Sunday afternoon will be looking to build on their good start to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after they beat Nkana 2 – 0 in the opening game of the group stage.
Asante Kotoko on the other hand suffered a narrow defeat to Al Hilal of Sudan in their opening game.
