Buildcon unveil new players and Technical staff

Ndola based Super league club Buildcon FC yesterday ( Saturday, February 3rd ) unveiled new players as they prepare for the 2018 Super league season. The players and new head coach were unveiled a Press Briefing at Urban Hotel Ndola at 12h00. The Briefing was streamed live on the Buildcon FC Facebook Page.

Before the unveiling the Chairman of the Club, Moses Mubanga assured the club of support. The management has also set winning the league as the target for the 2018 Super league season.

Coach Hicham Jedrane and physical trainer Alex Iliuciuc have both been released after the expiration of their contracts. Italian coach Arena Gulgleimo was named as his replacement and was unveiled yesterday.

Coach Arena holds a UEFA- A Licence and has 13 years coaching experience across Africa, Asia and Europe. In Africa he has won the league championship with two clubs in two different countries namely Benin and Burkina Faso.

Gulgleimo who penned a one year renewable contract is expected to build on the foundation laid by Coach Hicham Jadrane and deliver the set targets for 2018.

Filadelfio Rusticcia, The new physical trainer is a licenced professional fitness coach with the Italian Football Federation.

In addition to the 15 players unveiled yesterday the Club also released a list of 16 players who will not be with the team Kopala family in 2018.

Uganda national team defender Isaac Isinde, Captain Mustapha Essuman and Patient Mwepu are part of the list. Maisha Chavda who has joined Zanaco and Jonas Sakuwaha who is in Tanzania have also left the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

After assessing the several options that were available to them, Europe inclusive, the team from Ndola has opted to undertake a three-week intensive pre-season training camp in Harare Zimbabwe. The team will depart for Harare on the 11th of February 2018 and return to Zambia on the 7th of March 2018 in readiness for 2018 season opening.

During the training camp the team has also arranged friendly matches with four top teams in Zimbabwe namely; Ngezi Platinum FC,FC Platinum, Caps United FC and Dynamos FC

Zambian International FC joins Buildcon FC on a 2-year contract from PowerDynamos Football Club

5. PARTSON JAURE
Zimbabwe international joins Buildcon FC on a 2-year contract from Ngezi Platinum FC Zimbabwe

Zambian International joins Buildcon FC on a 3-year contract from Nchanga Rangers FC

7 POTIPHER ZULU
Joins Buildcon FC on a 2-year contract from Lusaka Dynamos FC

    Good team organisation buildcon mgmt. Some teams don’t even have a strategic plan. They engage players to impress supporters and not to achieve results. All the best in 2018.

    I totally disagree with you @ba Dan this team replaced the entire team and you call that good organization,I can bet my life on them winning the league this team is sooo useless any way that is my personal opinion just like everyone is in titled to theres

  5. This is almost replacing the entire team with the new one, building a structure and destroying it up to foundation level and start contruction again, you call this good management, this is crazy.

    Guys A team registers 30 players for a season, so they still have the other half in place and they will just fuse them in with rest . remember the strategic plan is for 4 years. Am just disappointed that they got rid of the Spanish coach whom I think was doing very fine.

    trust what these guys are visionary this time they combine youth and experience.it will be difficot to win the leaque but for them but they are bringing more competion raiseing the bar in the the local league.all the best chao 2018!!!

    Hope this time will do better than last year but it’s not good to overall the team including coach, the only good thing is that they brought some Zambian players good luck
