Buildcon slaughter Buffaloes as Arrows draw
Second placed Green Buffaloes recorded their third loss of the season and failed to make ground on Zesco United after they were beaten 2 – 0 at home by Buildcon.

Buffaloes were the first to threaten through their top goal goal scorer Diamond Chikwewe who pounced on a loose ball but shot wide.
Once Buildcon had settled in their stride, they looked to be on the front foot and they broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Lameck Silwaba volleyed past Silwimba in the Green Buffaloes goal.
The visitors added a second in the in the 40th minute when Chanda Mushili tapped in from close range after he finished off a counter attack he started when he benefited from a Bayo cross.
Buffaloes threw everything at Buildcon and the Ndola side will have their goalkeeper to thank for two brilliant saves in the 89th and 90th minute when he denied Lazarous Muchinga from point blank range and Youremember Banda respectively.
Buildcon remain in 8th position on 43 points despite the win but go within one point of 7th placed Kabwe Warriors while Green Buffaloes also stay in 2nd position on 49 points.
In Kabwe, Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy missed out on a chance to go above Napsa Stars in the relegation fight when they conceded late to draw 2 – 2 with Forest Rangers.
