Am thinking to my self, was shonga really serious when he said that he will beat mbesumas 25 goals record because what l saw last night was really disappointed a zambian striker missing sitters surely not even hitting the target.in one instance he did the send back to the sender, mwaiche shonga if you did not watch Collins let me tell you that he was a hell of a finisher not even that they call old fashioned number 9 hence be careful who you compare yourself to and please work on finishing.

Surprised to hear Shonga was comparing himself to C.Mbesuma. Shonga is miles behind where Mbesuma was in his second season at Chiefs. He has a lot to work on his game. I laughed 3 seasons ago another Pirates player then Tendai Ndoro said he would break Mbeusma’s record 25 goals in the League, come end of season he couldn’t even score more than 15 goals…shhh

I also did respond to Shonga and warned him not to compare himself to Collins or anyone for that matter.
It is undeniable that Shonga is a good striker, but he should just take it a little bit easy on himself. He needs to steady himself and avoid setting targets. Just take it one at a time and life will work out for you young man.
Keep working hard. don’t play to the gallery or to impress the supporters, just play your game.
