Bilton Musonda blames change of coaching staff for poor season
Green Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda believes the change of coaching staff midway through the season has contributed to the poor performance the soldiers have had so far this season.
Musonda explained to the ZamFoot Crew that players are taking long to re-adjust to his philosophy after being exposed to another coaches philosophy as it takes time for players to adjust.
“It is a season which had a lot of problems , Its a team that changed coaches within a season so it is one of maybe the causes . In football a new coach comes in with his philosophy which takes time for players to adapt but then again another change within a short period of time so I think its not our season,” He said.
” Its not our season as GBFC . We have to start afresh going into the next season ,We need to win our last two games to survive relegation and start the coming season on positive note,” He added.
Musonda and his boys were handed a 2-1 defeat by Zanaco away at Sunset Stadium but Musonda was impressed with one of his players Nerbert Musamba.
“He is a young man who has got the heart despite his stature. I think he can do wonders in our team,” He said.
Buffaloes are sixth on the log with 16 points and need to pick atleast a point from their remaining two games to avoid the drop.
