Banda assists, Shonga impresses as Mbola plays 90

Belgian based midfielder Emmanuel Banda opened his assists account for his out-fit KV Oostende in their 2-1 win over town rivals KV Kortrijk. The talented left footer set up team mate Zarko Tomaševic just 8 minutes into the match to put Oostende in the lead.

Nicolas Lombaerts doubled the lead for the Kustboys 12 minutes but Chevalier pulled one back in the thirty third minute for KV Kortrijk .Banda was replaced by Fernando Berrier in the 46th minute and that was enough to ensure victory as Oostende held on to claim all three points.

Striker Justin Shonga was once again in excellent form yesterday as he put in a full shift for Orlando Pirates in their one all draw with Polokwane City.The former Nkwazi man who is still chasing his first pirates goal forced the City goalkeeper to make a good save just 10 minutes into the match.

Midfielder Salulani Phiri who turns out for Polokwane missed the match as he is still nursing an injury.

In Israel Emmanuel Mbola put in a 90 minute shift for Hapoel Rana’ana who were held to a one all draw with Bnei Yehuda .

On Friday, January 19th, Midfielder Chisamba Lungu played 51 minutes for his Turkish out-fit Alanyaspor being introduced in the 22nd minute and being withdrawn in the 73rd minute in their three goals to two defeat at the hands of Kasımpaşa.

    Congrats to Banda for the assist in Belgium. That was an important contribution to his team’s efforts to stay afloat. Congrats to Sakala for the goal in Russia! Also happy to hear that Mbola played the full match in Israel, and would still like to see him back with Chipolopolo when they resume Africa Cup qualifiers later in the year. What has happened to Mayuka in Israel?

    Emmanuel mbola should be recalled for national he really deserve another chance. Fuckson needs competition for him to pull up his socks. All the goals we conceded are from the left back. Ratating players brings in competition.
