Nyambe Mulenga out of hospital


Chipolopolo defender Nyambe Mulenga who sustained a dislocated joint in a road traffic accident in December has been discharged from Hospital. Chipolopolo to arrive midday today

The Zambia national team will arrive back home today (Thursday) from Equatorial Guinea after they were ejected from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations. The team spent a night in-transit in Ethiopia and have since left for Lusaka. ‪‎Chipolopolo left Malabo, Equatorial Guinea yesterday in the afternoon and took the four hour flight into Ethiopia. The team will arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 12:10 hours. The Honour Janza coached side finished bottom of group B after amassing only two points in the three group stage games.

Simukonda disappointed by club’s failure to release U23 players

COACH Fighton Simukonda has expressed disappointment at the decision by some clubs not to release players for the Zambia Under-23 soccer team training camp.
