AUSC Games: Zambia lose to Angola to miss out on final

The Zambia U17 national team were on Friday beaten 5 – 4 by Angola on post match penaties to miss out on a chance to play in the final of the AUSC Zone five games.

The two teams were level at 1 – 1 at the end of 90 minutes but the hosts dug deep to pull a surprise win.

Zambia topped he group at the end of the round robin stage and were pitted against Angola who were bottom with only a point to their name.

The defending champions will now play Swaziland in a third place final.

Swaziland also lost 5 – 4 on penalties to Zimbabwe who secured a place in the final.

    Congrats Zambia u20 & FAZ.Politics aside Kalusha B is a great son of Zambia & Africa his greatness will live on. What Kalusha has achieved in Zambian football is imense and not comparable to Mr.Kamanga.Once again long live King Kalu.

    He is a true son of Mother Zambia who has put our flag on the world map. Hurt him or not he has done a lot for this country. Anyone who has been in such position in any association can you stone him ngatamwaibapo. The man did his part period which others failed to do. Now we are watching someone who is on cloud A after the under 20 won the Regional under 20 Cosafa Cup as if it is the first time yet it is the 11th time.
