Chipolopolo midfielder Augustine Mulenga is expected to link up with his new teammates at South African side Orlando Pirates on Monday.
The 28 year old who was one of the Zambia’s stand out players at the CHAN tournament was spotted at Sunset Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
“I will be going [South Africa] on Monday. And I am looking forward to being part of the pirates family,” the wing wizard told the ZamFoot Crew.
The 2017 Zambian Player of Year has been keeping shape with his former club.
Augu as his friends call him came to stardom last year with eye catching performances for both club and country.
After Chipolopolo Boys axed big names like Collins Mbesuma, Rainford Kalaba, Chisamba Lungu, and Fwayo Tembo, the former Nkwazi winger took up the mantle and became Zambia’s main man with his driving runs.
At Pirates he will join Justin Shonga, a player he has known since their days at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Hmmmm Zamfoot. Is Lungu axed?
