Augustine Mulenga on Hapoel Ra’anana’s radar

Zanaco wing wizard Augustine Mulenga is on the radar of Israel club Hapoel Ranaana Zamfoot can exclusively reveal. Ranaana are struggling in the league with the sensational Zanaco midfielder seen as one player who can turn fortunes for them.

The club has had a number Zambian players on their books with defender Emmanuel Mbola currently in their ranks.

The stumbling block however for Mulenga is the transfer fee the club demands.

Zanaco are said to want to get something close to $200 000 .The same amount they got from Saith Sakala’s transfer to Saudi Arabia.

In Zambia currently defender Isaac Shamujompa’s pending move to Buildcon is a record deal involving a Zambian player with Buildcon believed to have paid K300 000 for the Chipolopolo fringe player.

With Shamujompa commanding that fee, it ‘ll be interesting to see how much Augustine is valued at.

If he is worth more than Saith Sakala then Zanaco will demand for close to $250, 000

In case Zanaco are ready to sell, Augustine Mulenga will not fall short of suitors even locally as the likes of Lusaka Dynamos and Zesco United are in the queue for arguably Zambia’s best winger.

Exactly but this idea that African players should be bought for nothing is coated with discrimination, racism and basically corruption in football…they will be putting him out there and get 3 million USD in 2/3 years time…CAF has literally slept in this regard! Look at African players in Europe, punch for punch with the rest of the world so why should we be less valuable???

How is $200,000 Saith doing in Saudi league? Is he worth every cent to the Arabs?!!! If not, Zambian clubs will b considered a bunch of cheats.Value them for what they are; Average players! If u get greedy this will scupper the chances of European exposure for most of our boys.
