Arsenal sign Zambian duo

Russian Super League side Arsenal Tula have completed the signing of Zambian duo of midfielders Lameck Banda and Klings Kangwa on a permanent basis from Super League side Buildcon.

Tula confirmed the development in a post on their official Twitter account monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

The duo has penned deals after impressing the coach Igor Cherevchenko led technical bench following a ten-day trial period. Lameck has been handed jersey number 29 when-days will wear jersey number 25.

The duo was included in Tula preseason training camp in Austria and they gave a good account for themselves. In Tula’s final match in Austria against Champions, Redbull Salzburg, Lameck Banda put in a man of the match performance and scored a wonder goal.

The duo joins former Nkana striker Evans Kangwa who joined Tula back in 2017 from Turkish outfit Gaziantepspor. Kangwa and Banda will have been brought in to reinforce the squad ahead of the 2019/2020 Russian Premier League which kicks off this Friday and the Uefa Europa League.

    Happy for the other two guys Lameck Banda and Kings Kangwa. As I earlier on said,sky is the limit Zambian guys all you need is discipline and focus

      It is good news, however these guys should be serious. Hope Kangwa helps them understand what being a pro is about.
