MTN Super League side Red Arrows have sent their head coach Honour Janza on an administrative leave after a string of poor results.
In a media statement, Janza is joined by his assistants Joel Bwalya and Nchimunya Mwetwa.
In the trio’s absence Chisi Mbewe has been appointed in a care taker role.
Mbewe will be assisted by former Zambia striker Songwe Chalwe while reserve coach Charles Kafula has been elevated as Technical Advisor.
After spending their pre-season in Valencia, Spain, a lot was expected from the Zambia Air Force sponsored side but their season has been poor.
In addition to that trip to Spain, Janza was allowed to bring in foreign players to boast the team.
But after 25 games, Arrows are just three points above the drop zone with 27 points.
The airmen have only won 6 games and lost 10 times already this season.
Janza’s final game was a 1-0 defeat to Nakambala over the weekend.
Janza was also fired at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport when he was in charge of Zambia.
His highlight as a coach was when he led Zambia to the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
