Ama Lole is now a Banker : Lawrence Chungu joins Zanaco
Chipolopolo left back Lawrence ‘Ama Lole’ Chungu has become the new addition to the roaster at Sunset Stadium after the former Power dynamos made his switch to Zanaco .
The talented left back has penned a two year deal with the bankers which will only be effective in August this year at the start of the new season.
The deal was signed on Tuesday, March 20th at the clubs Secretariate in Lusaka’s Central Business district. Chungu was unveiled to the media shortly by the clubs CEO Marlon Kananda. Head Coach Numba Mumamba was also in attendance.
Chungu has since been handed the number 3 shirt at Sunset Stadium.
Chungu nicknamed Ama Lole was until now on the books of Super league money bags Buildcon but has found game time hard to come by this season as Diego Apanane has taken over and made the left back position personal to holder.
At Zanaco he will have to fight for a place with Pungi who has been fantastic so far .
