Martin Phiri scored a goal in each half to help Zanaco to a 3-0 win over Gambian Air Force in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary stage. Coach Numba Mumamba went for the old fashioned 4-4-2 partnering Phiri with Congolese forward Maisha Chavda upfront while Ernest Mbewe and Charles Zulu were deployed on the flanks.
